Certified to the standard for food packaging BRC/IOP Global Standard 3 since February 2009. 

The BRC/IOP Global Standard is a norm for food packagings and other packaging material, and adhering to this offers our customers the guarantee that the food packagings and package leaflets that we produce are free of physical (glass splinters, wood/metal shavings, hairs, rocks), microbiological (bacteria, viruses, pests) and chemical (pesticides, solvents, mycological toxins) contaminants.  

It was developed jointly in England by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and the Institute of Packaging (IoP) and is recognized worldwide by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

With the consistent adherence to its requirements, the Birkhäuser+GBC joint-stock company is making an important contribution in the food safety chain.
